Our college library has a LAC for smooth functioning of the library management and the library services.
Function of LAC
1. To develop the library resources and services to make user friendly environment
2. To supervise the allocation and utilization of funds for purchase of books , journal etc
3. To look after the technological advancements including computer, internet, LAN connection , downloading, printing etc.
4. To facilitate e-learning among students and faculty.
SIGNIFICANT INITIATIVE PROPOSED AND IMPLIMENTED BY LAC
Allocation of fund to purchase books , journals , newspaper and internet facility .
Purchase of library software and initiation of data entry.
Implementation of E-resources through INFLIBNET .
Photocopy service available for student and teacher.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
To provide the right books the right user for the development of teaching –learning process.
To fulfill the need of the students and staff
To promote research activity amongst faculty .
To develop the library reading resources for various courses .
To enhance the use of ICT for the benefit of users.
DETAILS OF THE ICT AND OTHER TOOLS
OPAC- online public access catalogue facilitates quick and easy search of a book by any keyword approach like – author, title, subject, ISBN, etc.
This service has already stated in library.
ELECTRONIC RESOURCE MANAGEMENT FOR E-JOURNALS – Access to N-List facilitates access to wide variety of information sources on the web.
FEDERATED SEARCHING TOOLS – N-LIST program is a federated tool for searching the article in the e-journal and e book.

IN-HOUSE/ REMOTE ACCESS TO E-PUBLICATION- E –resources of N-List programme is subscribed from remote access.
