Strategic/Prospective Plan
Strategic/Prospective Plan
Proper strategizing, charting out the course of action is integral to the successful operation of any organisation, more so an educational institution. Situated in a tribal belt and the only college within a radius of 30 km in Western Dooars, Parimal Mitra Smriti Mahavidyalaya has since its inception endeavoured to provide quality education to the young learners and contribute to the uplift of the local community. The vision and mission of the college throws light on the focus and priorities of the institution.
The organisational structure of the institute as reflected in the organogram is well-defined that facilitates framing of policies and operational strategies to run the institution in an effective, outcome-driven manner, in keeping with its missionary zeal and visionary goal. The Governing Body is the highest decision-making body. Internal Quality Assurance Cell adopts measures for qualitative enhancement of the college. The Principal as the Head of the Institution, coordinates between the two. The decisions taken at the Teachers’ Council meetings are executed at the departmental level and also by the different statutory committees at academic, administrative and other operational levels.
- The SWOC analysis of the college enables us to assess the present status, identify areas that need special attention and act accordingly. The thrust areas of the institution are broadly classified as:
- Activities of IQAC
