b] Aims of the Committee:
The sole objective of the Anti-Ragging Cell has almost been equal in all educational institutions the world over. Our college, Parimal Mitra Smriti Mahavidyalaya (PMSM), is no exception to it.
To re-create a congenial academic atmosphere in our college has been our priority. The committee acts as an interface between student community and teachers.
The Cell is hell bent on addressing any issues relating to ragging on the campus with the motto of Zero Tolerance mentality/restrain. It does not work at times. And so, we put in our best to heighten and highlight the menace and malady of the age, plaguing the HEIs.
Indulgence in such a nefarious activity must be dealt with a strong message.
On the Freshers’ Welcome day, the principal speaks volumes on the side effects of ragging. Apart from this, every teacher including the student leader conducts awareness programme as and when the situation demands.

2018-2019: No occurrence of ragging in any form whatsoever was reported during this academic session.
2] 2019-2020:: No occurrence of ragging in any form whatsoever was reported during this academic session .
3] 2020-2021:: No occurrence of ragging in any form whatsoever was reported during this academic session .
4] 2021-2022:: No occurrence of ragging in any form whatsoever was reported during this academic session .
5] 2022-2023:: No occurrence of ragging in any form whatsoever was reported during this academic session .
